I believe in America’s millions of small businesses.
Not as a statistic. As people.
The owner who unlocks the door before sunrise. The entrepreneur who turns an idea into a first customer. The family that puts its savings, its time, and its hopes into building something of its own.
To me, independent business is one of the clearest expressions of freedom.
The freedom to choose your work. To test an idea. To compete. To accept responsibility. To build a future that is not entirely dependent on someone else’s decisions.
Those are not freedoms I am willing to take for granted.
I believe in private ownership, voluntary exchange, competition, and the right to earn a profit by creating something others value. I reject the idea that success is something to apologize for, or that greater government control is the answer to every economic challenge.
But defending enterprise takes more than making an argument.
We also have to help the people practicing it succeed.
An owner can have the courage to start a business without having every skill needed to run one. Knowing your product does not automatically mean knowing your finances. Being good with customers does not automatically produce a marketing plan. Working harder does not always tell you what to do next.
That is why I established Builders Intelligence Group.
To put practical intelligence, business systems, and a trusted community behind people willing to take responsibility and build.
To help owners become more capable—not more dependent.
To help them start, build, scale, and ultimately pass on or sell businesses that create lasting value.
I did not establish Builders simply to talk about a better future. I established it to help people build one.
